1.2767 (45NiCrMo16 / X45NiCrMo4) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum cold-work and die steel, tough and deep-hardening, machined soft-annealed (about 230-260 HB). Grade identification is from Fushun Special Steel. Grade-specific published milling speeds are scarce, so cutting parameters are anchored to the low-alloy Cr-Mo 4140 class (indexable milling 460-620 SFM) and shipped as conservative solid-tool starting points, all flagged estimated. The power-model constants are ISO P low-alloy class-typical values for a rough power estimate only. Verify against your tool maker or shop data.
